UNLISTED OBVERSE LEGEND. RIC lists only shorter variant ended with ...N C [LUGDUNUM 232; specimen from BM cited in RIC]. See also footnote 5 on p. 258: "Maur. [Maurice, Numismatique constantinienne] ii, p. 79 erroneously attributes to the Caesars the fuller - NOB C legend". Apparently, Maurice was right. Listed in Bastien Lyon (294-316) (p. 233, no. 456). Coin should be listed before LUGDUNUM 232 or after LUGDUNUM 239.

NOTES

Weight 7.40 g; diameter 25-26 mm. Coin sold on eBay in June 2011 for USD 20. Now in the Zenon M. Collection.
