[CONFIRMATION]. RIC cites for this type specimen from the British Museum which has bust mantled, not cuirassed (see LONDINIUM [after 223]). However, type with bust cuirassed also exists. Listed in Cloke-Toone (7.07.006) as corrected LONDINIUM 223.

NOTES

Weight 4.65 g; diameter 22.5 mm. Plate coin in Cloke-Toone. From CNG coinshop (no. 804410), sold for USD 245 (incorrectly attributed as LONDINIUM 222); sold on CNG eAuction 574 (lot 619) in November 2024 for USD 300.
