UNLISTED BUST TYPE - CC. Not attested for obv. legend 1d (p. 136). For this bust type see also CORRIGENDA, VOL. VI, p. 134. Listed in Huvelin (no. 81; bust described as cuirassed only). Listed in Saint-Colombier-en-Sarzeau Hoard (p. 83, no. 3280). Cloke-Toone lists two separate varieties of this type: with bust cuirassed only (7.04.012; not illustrated) and with bust cuirassed and draped (7.04.013). But note that alleged drapery seen on some specimens could be regarded as balteus, shoulder belt used to suspend sword or to support shield. Coin should be listed in RIC after LONDINIUM 197.
