VICTORI-ASARMATICA [VICTORIA SARMATICA]; the four princes sacrificing over tripod before archway in six-turreted enclosure. No mintmark in exergue.

MINTMARK VARIETY. Specimen similar to CYZICUS 5b except for absence of CM in mintmark. Note also footnote to CYZICUS 5a on p. 579: "Vienna contains similar piece [...] without mint-mark". Probably both pieces belong to a separate unlisted issue. Further investigations needed.

Argenteus. Weight 3.08 g; diameter 20 mm. Coin sold on Nomos Obolos webauction 12 (lot 812) in March 2019 for CHF 400; sold on Numismatica Ars Classica Spring Auction 2020 (lot 1222) in May 2020 for CHF 375; sold on Nomos Obolos webauction 23 (lot 802) in June 2022 for CHF 900.
