REVERSE

VIRTVSAV-GGETCAESSNN [VIRTVS AVGG ET CAESS NN]; prince, with shield on l. arm, galloping r., and spearing kneeling foeman; second foeman prostrate on ground. AQΓ in exergue.

NOT IN RIC

[CORRECTION]. RIC describes this bust type [F] as cuirassed only. Shoukd be: draped and cuirassed. According to Paolucci & Zub (p. 85), AQUILEIA 89 with bust type J, cited in RIC after Voetter (p. 67, no. 7), is in fact AQUILEIA 86b. It means that AQUILEIA 89 does not exist and bust type J = bust type F.

Weight 8.90 g; diameter 28 mm. Sold on Lucernae Numismatics auction XXVIII (lot 907) in Decemeber 2025 for EUR 2,000.
