RIC VI, AQUILEIA [after 42], MAXIMINUS, UNLISTED FOR RULER

OBVERSE

MAXIMINV-SNOBCAES [MAXIMINVS NOB CAES]; head r., laur.

REVERSE

CONCORDIACAESS-NOSTR [CONCORDIA CAESS NOSTR]; Concordia seated l. on high-backed chair, r. holding patera, l. double cornucopiae. AQ in exergue.

NOT IN RIC

UNLISTED FOR RULER. RIC lists this issue for Constantius, Galerius Maximian and Severus (p. 317). But note different rev. legend: ...CAESS NOSTR instead of ...AVGG NOSTR. See also CORRIGENDA, VOL. VI, p. 317.

Note that so far two different rev. legend breaks are attested: S-N and unbroken, which could make in RIC two separate entries (cf. RIC VI TREVERI 802 and 807 or SISCIA 61 and SISCIA 62).

Listed in Paolucci & Zub (no. 132). Not listed in Depeyrot. Coin should be listed in RIC after AQUILEIA 42.
