MAXIMIN-VSNOBCAES [MAXIMINVS NOB CAES]; head r., laur.

REVERSE

IOVICO-N-SCAES [IOVI CONS CAES]; Jupiter stg. l., chlamys spread behind, r. holding thunderbolt, l. leaning on sceptre; to l., eagle. Cross in circle (theta?) in right field. Crescent SMA[reversed sigma] star in exergue.

NOT IN RIC

MINTMARK VARIETY. Specimen similar to ANTIOCHIA 68 except for mark in r. field. But cf. ANTIOCHIA 80 (BM 1864,1128.168, 5.31 g; cited in RIC) with the same mark. It suggests that this variety belongs to the Group III and should be listed after ANTIOCHIA 79.
