UNLISTED OBVERSE LEGEND - 1a. RIC lists for this type only obv. legend 1b: IMP C LIC LICINIVS (single "N") P F AVG (p. 644). Probably in error and there should be 1a instead of 1b. Note, however, that ANTIOCHIA 170a with obv. legend 1b also exists, but is significantly rarer than this unlisted variety. Note also that there is another error in RIC: officina letter in m.m. pattern should be always in left field (see CORRIGENDA, VOL. VI, p. 644). Both errors repeated after Voetter (p. 45, no. 19).
General note from p. 611: "[...] only officinae A-AI and DI are evidenced, but it is probable that fifteen or fourteen were at work. The sole type is Herculi Victori, very rare for Licinius and Constantine, and scarce for Maximinus. Date, 313". Coin should be listed before ANTIOCHIA 170a.
