|
UNLISTED ISSUE. Not attested in RIC but cf. ANTIOCHIA 158 and RIC VII ANTIOCH 3A (in "Addenda and Corrigenda", p. 720; note Jupiter with chlamys hanging from l. shoulder). The iconography of reverse (Jupiter with cloak spread behind) suggests that this issue was minted under Maximinus (see: Bruun, P., "The Iupiter Conservator of the Emperor Maximinus", [in:] Florilegium Numismaticum. Studia honorem U. Westermark edita, Stockholm 1992). Coin should be probably listed after ANTIOCHIA 131 or later.
