NOT IN RIC

UNLISTED REVERSE TYPE. Specimen similar to ANTIOCHIA 135 from Group V (p. 636), except for different m.m. pattern with no star over altar. Therefore it belongs to Group IV. Cohen probably was aware of this type (see Cohen, vol. VII, p. 154, no. 132). However, it is possible that some of these specimens could be in fact ANTIOCHIA 135 with star worn out, omitted accidentally by engraver or unstruck because of clogged die.

Coin should be listed after ANTIOCHIA 120 which has virtually the same reverse except for Maximinus holding globe without Victory. But note that the description of ANTIOCHIA 120 in RIC is incorrect (see: CORRIGENDA, VOL. VI, p. 633).
