NOT IN RIC

UNLISTED FOR RULER. RIC lists this issue only for Galerius Maximian and Licinius (p. 633). However, Bruun mentions in footnote 2 on p. 633 that: "B.M. has this type and mark with obv. Imp C Gal Val Maximinus P F Aug, r. laur., off. A. This must surely be regarded as a hybrid combining a rev. of this issue with an obv. of the next". Neither Bruun's hypothesis can be excluded, nor the possibility of ANTIOCHIA 133c (CNG; 6.30 g, 23 mm) or ANTIOCHIA 148c (FAC; 6.13 g, 23.8 mm) with an engraver's error. But it is also possible that Maximinus' promotion to Augustus took place during the minting of this issue. Coin should be listed after ANTIOCHIA 119b.
