UNLISTED FOR RULER. RIC lists this issue only for Severus II [ALEXANDRIA 61, from officina B; the British Museum Collection (reg. no. 1860,0329.40); 5.37 g]. General note from p. 653: "The only gold which can with certainty be attributed to this period is a unique aureus of Severus with Concordia Aug et Caes; the singular terminations must surely show Maximinus' readiness at Alexandria to publicize support for Severus in contrast to Galerius and Constantine. The coin is officina-marked, and continues on the standard of c. 5.3 gm.". Coin should be listed before ALEXANDRIA 61.
