CONSTAN-TINVSAVG [CONSTANTINVS AVG]; bust r., laur., wearing trabea, eagle-tipped sceptre in r. hand.

REVERSE

BEATA•TRA-NQVILLITAS [BEATA • TRANQVILLITAS]; globe set on altar inscribed VOT/IS/XX; above, three stars. PTR in exergue.

REVERSE LEGEND VARIETY. Specimen similar to TRIER 305 except for dot in rev. legend. Variety not mentioned either in RMBT or in RIC but, surprisingly enough, this very variety is pictured in RIC on Plate 4 (no. 305) and in RMBT on Plate I (p. 31, no. 5).

NOTES

Weight 2.7 g; diameter 19 mm. From Via-Agrippa.
