IOVICONSER-VATORIA-VG [IOVI CONSERVATORI AVG]; eagle stg. on wave line, l. wing pointing downward, carrying Emperor, stg. l., thunderbolt in r. hand, sceptre across l. shoulder. STR in exergue.

UNLISTED OFFICINA S AND OBVERSE VARIETY. Specimen similar to TRIER 211 except for spear across l. shoulder on the obv. instead of sceptre. See also CORRIGENDA, VOL. VII, p. 182.
