IMPLICI-NIVSAVG [IMP LICINIVS AVG]; bust l., laur., dr., cuir., mappa in raised r. hand, spear across l. shoulder.

REVERSE

IOVICONSER-VATORIA-VG [IOVI CONSERVATORI AVG]; eagle stg. on wave line, l. wing pointing downward, carrying Emperor, stg. l., thunderbolt in r. hand, sceptre across l. shoulder. STR in exergue.

NOT IN RIC

OBVERSE VARIETY. Specimen similar to TRIER 211 except for spear across l. shoulder on the obverse instead of sceptre. Note that officina S is the only one existing for this issue. See CORRIGENDA, VOL. VII, p. 182.
