NOT IN RIC

REVERSE VARIETY. Specimen similar to TRIER 121, but Genius has chlamys across l. shoulder (like Sol on rev. from Soli Invicto series) instead of "loins dr. with himation" (p. 173). The existence of specimens from different dies proves that it is not a simply engraver's error. Note also that all known specimens are from officina B. At least one specimen of this type was present in Antibes Hoard (p. 340, no. 343) but variety of rev. not mentioned.
