UNLISTED ISSUE. RIC lists only similar earlier issue with PTR in exergue [TRIER 192-194] (p. 179) with the same obv. legend, but with bust type B1 (laur.). Diademed bust with fully developed rosette-diadem suggests considerably later date, around 325. Coin should be listed after TRIER 503.

NOTES

Solidus. Weight 4.39 g; diameter 20 mm. Sold on Roma Numismatics auction IX (lot 826) in March 2015 for GBP 23,000.
