RIC VII, TRIER [before 355], CONSTANTINE II, UNLISTED BUST TYPE [C3 l.]

OBVERSE

CONSTANT-INVSIVNNC [CONSTANTINVS IVN N C]; bust l., rad., dr., cuir. [C3 l.].

REVERSE

NOT IN RIC

UNLISTED BUST TYPE - C3 l. Not attested for obv. legend 7c (p. 195). Not listed in RMBT. Although RMBT lists similar bust type for an earlier issue (p. 64, no. 21-22), it is described as in mantle and with mappa ["Herrschermantel, aus dem eine Tafel (Mappa?) herausragt" (p. 22, bust type 92L)]. But note that the difference between type 92L and type 91L (draped and cuirassed) is not obvious and could be a result of the two different styles of engraving. Coin should be listed before TRIER 355.

NOTES
