CONSTANTINVSIVNNOBC [CONSTANTINVS IVN NOB C]; bust r., laur., dr., cuir., spear across r. shoulder, holding horse by bridle with l. hand [G11 var.].

REVERSE

BEATATRA-NQVILLITAS [BEATA TRANQVILLITAS]; globe set on altar inscribed VOT/IS/XX; above, three stars. PTR in exergue.

UNLISTED BUST TYPE - G11 var. Not attested for obv. legend 7a (p. 191). Bust type similar to G11 except for bust draped and cuirassed instead of cuirassed only. Footnote to TRIER 314 reads as follows: "Rev. break A-N, obv. bust dr., spear across r. shoulder". Listed in RMBT (p. 64, no. 12). Note that TRIER 314 with similar bust turned left is listed in RMBT (p. 64, no. 13), but not illustrated. Misprint in RIC suspected (G11 l. instead of G11). Coin should be listed before TRIER 314.

NOTES

Weight 2.71 g; diameter 19 mm. Coin sold on Numismatik Lanz auction 128 (lot 887) in May 2006 for EUR 525.
