REVERSE	VIRT-EXERC [VIRT EXERC]; plan of Roman camp, Sol stg. in the middle, raising r. hand, holding globe in l., chlamys across l. shoulder. •TS•B• in exergue.
NOT IN RIC	BUST TYPE VARIETY. RIC marks Constantine's II bust as B5, but according to Bruun, it could be also marked B4 (see footnote to THESSALONICA 69-71 on p. 507: "Bust B4 or B5, a matter of opinion"). Here we have undoubtedly bust type B4. However, this coin was probably heavily tooled. Note that in the present author's opinion busts of THESSALONICA 69-71 should be marked B4 (see CORRIGENDA, VOL. VII, p. 507).
