OBVERSE

IIIPLI-CINIVSAVG [IIIP (sic!) LICINIVS AVG]; bust r., helmeted, cuir.

REVERSE

VIRTVS-EXERCIT [VIRTVS EXERCIT]; standard inscribed VOT/X; captive std. on ground on either side. S in left field, F in right field. •B SIS*• in exergue.

MINTMARK VARIETY. Specimen similar to SISCIA 110 except for dots (or dot) in m.m. (sometimes hardly visible) Note, however, crude style and lettering, errors in obv. legend and reverse appropriate for Caesars (VOT/X on standard instead of VOT/XX). Note also style similarity with SISCIA 119 (unique example with two dots in m.m., cf. picture 119 on plate 13). Apparently an ancient imitation.
