CONST-ANTINVSAVG [CONSTANTINVS AVG]; bust r., laur. helmet (bowl-shaped helmet with a long crest), cuir.

REVERSE

ROMAE-AETERNAE [ROMAE AETERNAE]; Roma std. r., shield in lap inscribed X/V. RS in exergue.

REVERSE VARIETY, UNLISTED OFFICINA S. Specimen similar to ROME 147 except for absence of letters P|R in fields. Probably an engraver's error or clogged die. Note that officina S is not attested for ROME 147. Note also unusual helmet: bowl-shaped with a long crest (cf. footnotes to ROMA 148, 167 and 190). NOTES

Weight 3.05 g; diameter 17 mm. Coin sold on Saint Paul Antiques auction 8 (lot 430) in July 2017 for GBP 40.
