RIC VII, ROME [after 341], CONSTANTINE I, [CORRECTION; THESSALONICA 206]

OBVERSE

CONSTANTI-NVSMAXAVG [CONSTANTINVS MAX AVG]; head r., with rosette-diadem.

REVERSE

VOTIS/XXX in laurel wreath.

NOT IN RIC

[CORRECTION]. Unique specimen from Hess 1935 (no. 3889; Trau Collection) erroneously listed in RIC VII as THESSALONICA 206. However, style is significantly different (cf. THESSALONICA 207; Rauch 86, lot 1208; 5.42 g) and indicates mint of Rome (cf. ROME 320). Coin should be listed in RIC probably after ROME 341.
