RIC VII, ROME [before 143], CONSTANTINE I, UNLISTED BUST TYPE [D2], OFFICINA T

OBVERSE

CONSTA-NTINVSAVG [CONSTANTINVS AVG]; bust r., helmeted, cuir. [D2].

REVERSE

PAXP-E-R-PETVA [PAX PERPETVA]; Pax stg. front, looking l., legs crossed, olive branch in r. hand holding transverse sceptre, leaning on column to r. P in left field, R in right field. RT in exergue.

NOT IN RIC

UNLISTED BUST TYPE - D2. Not attested for obv. legend 1 and this rev. type (p. 314). Note, however, that there is an error in RIC. Specimen listed as ROME 143 has actually bust type D2 (officina P) and variety with bust type D6 probably does not exist. See CORRIGENDA, VOL. VII, p. 314. Coin should be listed before ROME 143 or as ROME 143 [CORRECTION].
