OBVERSE

CONST[A]-NTINVSAVG [CONSTANTINVS AVG]; bust r., helmeted, cuir. [D2].

NOT IN RIC

UNLISTED BUST TYPE - D2. Not attested for obv. legend 1 and this rev. type (p. 314). Note, however, that there is an error in RIC. Specimen listed as ROME 143 has actually bust type D2 (officina P) and variety with bust type D6 probably does not exist. See CORRIGENDA, VOL. VII, p. 314. For varieties of Constantine's helmets from ROME 143-193 emission see CORRIGENDA, VOL. VII, p. 348. Coin should be listed before ROME 143 or as ROME 143 [CORRECTION].
