NOT IN RIC

[CORRECTION]. RIC gives bust type E8, i.e. cuirassed and draped. However, this very specimen cited in RIC (from Ratto 1926 and Baranowski 1931, see reference to NICOMEDIA 172 on p. 630) has undoubtedly bust cuirassed, without any traces of drapery.

AV fraction (probably of 1½ scripula or 9 siliquae). Weight 1.64 g. Coin sold on Numismatica Genevensis auction 8 (lot 140) in November 2014 for CHF 5,200; sold on Maison Palombo Aauction 14 (lot 41) in November 2015 for EUR 6,800.
