CRISPVS-NC•COS•II [CRISPVS NC • COS • II]; bust r., laur., wearing trabea, Victory on globe in r. hand.

REVERSE

BEATATRANQVILLITAS [BEATA TRANQVILLITAS]; globe set on altar inscribed VO/TIS/XX in three lines; above, three stars. C in left field, R in right field. PLG in exergue.

NOT IN RIC

UNLISTED BUST TYPE. Similar to bust type K3 except for Victory on globe instead of eagle-tipped sceptre. Listed in Bastien Lyon II (p. 152, no. 90). Should be listed in RIC after LYONS 136.

NOTES

Weight 3.13 g; diameter 20 mm. Coin sold on CGB Monnaies 41 (lot 1293) in November 2009 for EUR 380.
