REVERSE

PROVIDEN-TIAECAESS [PROVIDENTIAE CAESS]; camp gate, two turrets, no doors, pellet above, varying number of stone layers. PLON in exergue.

NOT IN RIC

REVERSE VARIETY. Specimen similar to LONDON 295 except for pellet above camp gate instead of star. Probably a die crack or an engraver's arror. Note that there is also possibly a dot in arch. Variant not mentioned in Cloke-Toone.

NOTES

Weight 3.08 g; diameter 19 mm. Ex Beast Coins. Sold on VAuctions sale 244 (lot 121) in April 2010 for $45.
