CRISPVS-NOBILC [CRISPVS NOBIL C]; bust l., helmeted, dr., cuir., shield on l. arm.

REVERSE

BEATTRA-NQLITAS [BEAT TRANQLITAS]; globe on altar inscribed VOT/IS/XX in three lines; above, three stars. PLON in exergue.

UNLISTED BUST TYPE. This bust type substantially differs from bust type D2 l. featured on LONDON 275). On the other hand, it cannot be marked as H2 l. (or similar), because there is no spear (see example of LONDON 280). Note also that it could be disputed whether there is shield on l. arm or decoration, like on some coins from Trier (see CORRIGENDA, VOL. VII, p. 212). Not listed in Cloke-Toone (but cf. 9.04.023). Should be listed in RIC before LONDON 280.
