NOT IN RIC

UNLISTED OBVERSE LEGEND AND BUST TYPE - L11 l. RIC lists for this issue only shorter obv. legend: CONSTANTINVS IVN N C. Also bust type L1 l. is not attested for Constantine II (p. 113). Not listed in Cloke-Toone. But note crude portrait of Treveran style (decoration on l. arm). Apparently an ancient imitation. Could be mentioned before LONDON 253.

NOTES

Weight 2.09 g; diameter 19 mm. Sold on Numismatik Naumann auction 57 (lot 707) in September 2017 for EUR 375.
