CONSTANTINTSIVNNOBC [CONSTANTINTS (sic!) IVN NOB C]; head r., laur. [B1].

REVERSE

PROVIDEN-TIAECAESS [PROVIDENTIAE CAESS]; gateway with two turrets, star above, no doors, varying number of stone layers. T*AP (sic!) in exergue.

UNLISTED BUST TYPE - B1. RIC lists for Constantine II bust types B3, B4 and B4 l. (p. 263). Note error in obv. legend: CONSTANTINTS and "P" instead of "R" in mimtmark. Coin of a good style, but probably an ancient imitation (product of a counterfeiters' workshop from Britain). Could be listed before ARLES 272.
