OBVERSE

IMPCONSTANTINVSPFAVG [IMP CONSTANTINVS P F AVG]; bust r., laur., dr., cuir.

REVERSE

SOLIIN-VI-CTOCOMITI [SOLI INVICTO COMITI]; Sol advancing l., chlamys flying under l. arm, l. holding globe close to body, raising r. C in left field, S in right field. PARL in exergue.

NOT IN RIC

UNLISTED REVERSE TYPE. Not attested for C|S issue, so there is no way to regard this type as a hybrid.

Note, however, that Bruun mentions in footnote 144 on p. 248 two similar varieties: "Two coins in V. [Vienna], ordinary obv. 1 (B4) struck in off. T with Claritas imagery, but Sol rev. legend. The one SOLI INVICTO COMITI, 'Sol advancing l., holding globe turned outwards', the other 'Sol advancing l., holding globe turned inwards and whip'. Both known as Claritas types of R|S issues".

Listed in Antibes Hoard (p. 361, no. 1004). Listed in Bastien-Huvelin (p. 90, no. 1071). The same specimen listed in Ferrando (p. 70-71, no. 34). Should be listed in RIC after ARLES 155.
