NOT IN RIC

UNLISTED FOR RULER, REVERSE LEGEND VARIETY. RIC lists this type for Diocletian and Galerius Maximian [all very rare! - R4 and R3] (p. 198). Note also rev. legend variety: VO/T X instead od VOT/X. See general note from p. 150: "The fractions, all rare, are safely attributable to Trier on grounds of portrait style. Their 'vota' reverses commemorate the joint vicennalia and decennalia of the Augusti and Caesars in and after 302. The issue as a whole - folles and fractions - falls c. 302-3". Listed in Zschucke BTP (p. 52, no. 3.9). Coin should be listed after TREVERI 568.
