UNLISTED OBVERSE LEGEND. Coin from the famous Arras hoard. Apparently at first published in: Agnes Baldwin Brett, The aurei and solidi of the Arras hoard, Numismatic Chronicle 1933, p. 274 (with wrong weight). RIC lists three gold multiples with similar rev. (the same rev. legend, Hercules holding apples in l. hand instead of bow), but with different bust type and obv. legend (TREVERI 28-30). Note that legend IMP MAXIMIANVS PIVS FEL AVG is not attested in RIC VI. Coin should be listed after TREVERI 28.
