UNLISTED FOR RULER. RIC attested this type for Licinius only [THESSALONICA 43]. Note also similarity in obv. legend pattern [LICINIVS P F AVG]. Both coins belong to the same issue, obviously minted before Galerius' death, and therefore should be listed in the Group III.

Aureus. Weight 5.44 g. Attributed to Maximian Herculius (sic!) and sold on Numismatik Lanz auction in November 2009 for EUR 4,600; offered on VCoins (Vilmar Collectibles) in February 2012 for $11,500; sold on Gorny and Mosch auction in October 2013 for EUR 9,500.
