REVERSE	MARSAVG-VSTORVM [MARS AVGVSTORVM]; Mars stg. l., in military dress, r. leaning on shield, l. on spear. SIS in exergue.
NOT IN RIC	UNLISTED FOR RULER. RIC lists this type only for Constantine (see SISCIA 216). Note that this specimen is a fourrée coin, obviously an ancient imitation, but its existence suggests that the official issue also existed. Should be listed before SISCIA 216.

NOTES

Aureus [fourrée]. Weight 2.60 g (sic!); diameter 19 mm. Coin sold on Pecunem (Gitbud & Naumann) 12 (lot 746) in February 2014 for EUR 550.
