NOT IN RIC

UNLISTED ISSUE. RIC does not lists any silver issue for Group II, i.e. also for Constantius. However, footnote 1 on p. 473 reads as follows: "Madrid has a coin with obv. Constan-tius Aug, r., laur., and rev. Victori-a Augg, SIS [in exergue], four-turreted camp-gate, as in issues (v) and (vi) of Group I. This appears to be unique: it might suggest a silver issue in 305-06, but constitutes very slender evidence". The specimen in question is another example of this rare issue, but the evidence is still weak and a mint's error could not be excluded. Coin should be listed after SISCIA 155.

NOTES
