REVERSE

GENIOCA-ESARIS [GENIO CAESARIS]; Genius stg. l., modius on head, naked but for chlamys over l. shoulder, r. holding patera (from which liquor flows), l. cornucopiae. Star in left field, Δ in right field. •SM•SD• in exergue.

UNLISTED FOR RULER. RIC lists this issue only for Maximinus (p. 500). General note from p. 490: "The coins as a whole are scarce [...] All four officinae worked impartially for all three persons [Galerius Maximian, Maximinus, Galeria Valeria]. The weight suggests a date late in 307 or in 308 [...]". Note that this type probably is not a hybrid (contrary to footnote 3 on p. 499). Coin should be listed before SERDICA 37.
