RIC VI, ROMA [before 5a], MAXIMIAN HERCULIUS, UNLISTED ISSUE [HERCVLI PACIFERO]

OBVERSE

MAXIMIA-NVSPFAVG [MAXIMIANVS P F AVG]; head r., laur.

REVERSE

HERCVL-I-P-ACIFERO [HERCVLI PACIFERO]; Hercules stg. r., head l., r. holding olive branch, l. club and lion's skin. PR in exergue.

NOT IN RIC

UNLISTED ISSUE. Many types with m.m. PR are omitted in RIC V/2 and RIC VI. There is a very slight possibility that some of them were minted after Reform. Also, others were added here for comparison.

Note that so far three different rev. legend breaks are attested: L-I-P-A, I-PA-C and V-L, which could make in RIC three separate entries (cf. TREVERI 802 and 807 or SISCIA 61 and SISCIA 62).

Listed in Depeyrot (p. 82, no. 6/1; no rev. break given). Coin could be listed in RIC before ROMA 5a.
