RIC VI, LUGDUNUM [before 250], CONSTANTINE, UNLISTED BUST TYPE or [CORRECTION]

OBVERSE

IMPCCONSTANTINVSPFAVG [IMP C CONSTANTINVS P F AVG]; bust r., laur., dr., cuir., seen from rear.

REVERSE

CONCORDIA-PERPETDDNN [CONCORDIA PERPET DD NN]; two Emperors stg. facing each other, clasping r. hands and leaning l. on scpetre. PLC in exergue.

NOT IN RIC

UNLISTED BUST TYPE. Not attested for obv. legend 3a and this rev. (p. 261). However, there is a misprint in RIC and LUGDUNUM 250 with bust C probably does not exist (see CORRIGENDA, VOL. VI, p. 261). Bust similar to type B as described on p. 260, but note that Bastien always assumes that bust seen from rear is draped and cuirassed (see also CORRIGENDA, VOL. VI, BUST TYPES SEEN FROM REAR).

Listed in Bastien Lyon (294-316) (p. 239, no. 490) as corrected LUGDUNUM 250. Could be listed in RIC before LUGDUNUM 250.
