MAXIMIANVSNOBCAES [MAXIMIANVS NOB CAES]; bust l., laur., cuir., r. holding forward-pointing spear, shield on l. arm [FF]

REVERSE

GENIOPOP-VLIROMANI [GENIO POPVLI ROMANI]; Genius stg. l., modius on head, naked but for chlamys over l. shoulder, r. holding patera, l. cornucopiae. Altar in left field, B in right field. PLC in exergue.

UNLISTED BUST TYPE - FF. Not attested for obv. legend 4a (p. 251-252). Note that bust type FF is in RIC additionally described as "seen from rear". Possibly in error or there are two variants of this bust type which is attested exclusively for LUGDUNUM 88. Coin should be listed after LUGDUNUM 149b.
