REVERSE

SOLIINVIC-TOCOMITI [SOLI INVICTO COMITI]; Sol stg. l., chlamys draped over l. shoulder and hanging behind, r. raised, l. holding up globe. Star in right field. PLN in exergue.

NOT IN RIC

REVERSE VARIETY. Similar to LONDINIUM 234 except for Sol's chlamys which is not only "draped over l. shoulder", but also hanging behind. Note that this variety is probably more common than variety described in RIC. Listed in Lafaurie 1966 (no. 32). Listed in Huvelin (no. 144a). See also CORRIGENDA, VOL. VI, p. 137.
