PRINCIPIIV-VENTVTIS [PRINCIPI IVVENTVTIS]; Prince stg. facing, head l., cloak hanging from l. shoulder, r. holding globe, l. reversed spear. Star in right field. PLN in exergue.

UNLISTED BUST TYPE. Not attested for this issue: similar to bust type R, but without eagle-tipped sceptre. Erroneously listed in RIC as cuirassed. Listed as cuirassed and draped in Huvelin (no. 124; p. 43: "buste lauré, cuirassé, drapé, à gauche"). In Stewartby - Boursies hoard described as "trabea, not cuirass with paludamentum" (p. 108).
