PRINCIPIIV-VENTVTIS [PRINCIPI IVVENTVTIS]; Prince stg. facing, head l., cloak hanging from l. shoulder and hanging behind, r. holding globe, l. reversed spear. Star in right field. PLN in exergue.

REVERSE VARIETY. Specimen similar to LONDINIUM 222 except for prince's cloak which is hanging from l. shoulder and also hanging behind instead of from l. shoulder only. Cf. also unlisted LONDINIUM [after 226]. Not listed in Huvelin. Listed in Cloke-Toone as a minor variety together with LONDINIUM 222 (7.07.003).

NOTES

Weight 4.61 g. Sold on Gorny & Mosch auction 233, session 2 (lot 2636) in October 2015 for EUR 140.
