REVERSE

COMITI-AVGGNN [COMITI AVGG NN]; Sol stg. l., chlamys falling from l. shoulder, r. holding up globe, l. whip. Star in right field. PLN in exergue.

NOT IN RIC

BUST TYPE VARIETY. Specimen cimilar to LONDINIUM 191 (BM, B.101, 4.41 g) with bust type Y except for bust probably cuirassed and draped, variety not attested for obv. legend 1h (p. 136). Listed in Huvelin (no. 66-66a) with bust described as "lauré, drapé, cuirassé". Note that this attribution may be disputable (cf. CORRIGENDA, VOL. VI, p. 134). Listed in Cloke-Toone (7.03.058) as a separate type.
