CONSTANT-INVSAVG [CONSTANTINVS AVG]; bust l., laur., in mantle, holding eagle-tipped sceptre.

REVERSE

MARTICON-SERVATORI [MARTI CONSERVATORI]; Mars stg. r., r. leaning on reversed spear, l. supporting shield. Star in left field. PLN in exergue.

UNLISTED BUST TYPE. Attested only for the previous issue as type R (p. 134). Listed in Huvelin (no. 173), but described as cuirassed, not "in mantle". Listed in Cloke-Toone (7.10.016). See also CORRIGENDA, VOL. VI, p. 134. Coin should be listed after LONDINIUM 261.

Weight 3.92 g; diameter 22 mm. Coin sold on Classical Numismatic Group auction 90 (lot 1716) in May 2012 for $700.
