PRINCIPIIV-VENTVTIS [PRINCIPI IVVENTVTIS]; Prince stg. facing, head l., in military dress, holding standard in each hand. Star in right field. PLN in exergue.

UNLISTED BUST TYPE - CC. Not attested for obv. legend 1e (p. 137). For this bust type see also CORRIGENDA, VOL. VI, p. 134. Listed in Huvelin (no. 116) with bust described as cuirassed only. Listed in Cloke-Toone (7.06.014) with bust described as cuirassed and draped. Note, however, that alleged drapery could be regarded as balteus, shoulder belt used to suspend the sword or to support the shield. Coin should be listed in RIC after LONDINIUM 220.
