REVERSE

CONCO-R-D-MILIT [CONCORD MILIT]; Concordia stg. slightly l., holding standard in each hand. Star in right field. PLN in exergue.

UNLISTED BUST TYPE - CC. Not attested for obv. legend 1e (p. 136). For this bust type see also CORRIGENDA, VOL. VI, p. 134. Not listed in Huvelin. Cloke-Toone lists two separate varieties of this type: with bust cuirassed only (7.04.025) and with bust cuirassed and draped (7.04.026; not illustrated). But note that alleged drapery seen on some specimens could be regarded as balteus, shoulder belt used to suspend the sword or to support the shield. Should be listed in RIC after LONDINIUM 203.
