OBVERSE

IMPCGALVALMAXIMINVSPFAVG [IMP C GAL VAL MAXIMINVS P F AVG]; head r., laur.

REVERSE

IOVICONS-ERVATORI [IOVI CONSERVATORI]; Jupiter stg. facing, head l., chlamys hanging behind, r. holding Victory on globe, l. leaning on sceptre. Δ in left field. MKV in exergue.

NOT IN RIC

UNLISTED OFFICINA - Δ. RIC lists officinae A, B, Γ, Є and ς (p. 592). Note that there is an error in RIC. Iconography on reverse is not similar to CYZICUS 78-80. In fact, Jupiter is holding Victoriola on globe, not just globe; there is no eagle at feet to l.; Jupiter's chlamys is hanging behind, not from l. shoulder. See: CORRIGENDA, VOL. VI, p. 592.
