IMPMAXIMIANVSPFAVG [IMP MAXINIANVS P F AVG]; bust l., laur., helm., cuir., spear over r. shoulder, shield on l. arm.

REVERSE

VIRTVSAV-GGETCAESSNN [VIRTVS AVGG ET CAESS NN]; prince with shield on l. arm, galloping r. over three fallen foemen, striking downwards with his spear. AQP in exergue.

NOT IN RIC

REVERSE VARIETY. Specimen similar to AQUILEIA 66b (BM B.3007; note sceptre over shoulder and rev. legend breaks S-A-V) except for three foemen on rev. instead of two.
