CONSVL-V-PPPROCOS [CONSVL V P P PROCOS]; emperor, laur., togate, stg. facing, head l., r. holding out globe. SMA[retrograde sigma] in exergue.

REVERSE VARIETY. Specimen similar to ANTIOCHIA 5 except for absence of baton on rev., i.e. rev. is identical with rev. of ANTIOCHIA 6 with star in m.m. Note, however, that it could be an error in RIC and variety with baton does not exist.

Aureus. Weight 5.29 g. Coin sold on Numismatica Ars Classica auction 24 (lot 236) in December 2002 for CHF 5,800.
