IOVICON-SERVATORI [IOVI CONSERVATORI]; Jupiter stg. l.; chlamys falls behind on both sides and is looped over r. arn; r. holds Victory on globe, l. leans on sceptre. Γ in right field. ALE in exergue.

UNLISTED ISSUE. RIC list multiple of 2 aurei (ALEXANDRIA 49; Vienna ID123429, 10.65 g, 25.1 mm) with similar rev., but with different obv. legend [IMP C MAXIMIANVS P F AVG] and bust type [laur., dr., cuir., seen from rear]. Coin should be listed before ALEXANDRIA 51.
